I have always been drawn to anything nautical and this summer I'm seeing anchors everywhere! Want to get on board with the anchor trend? Here are some of my top style picks.

I’ve always been into anything nautical and I mean anything, clothes, home decor, jewlery, etc. While patriotic colors and stripes pop up in retail stores every summer, this year I’ve noticed the trend has gravitated towards anchors.
Want to get on board with the anchor trend? Here are some of my top style picks. Some of these items I own, and some I’m just admiring.
I love this Anchor Print Tie Back Halter from The Limited’s Outback Red® Collection and it looks great with white pants! It’s $46.90, but they always have promotions and coupons you can use. The Limited also has some cute anchor cami/tanks.
Anchor print does knot stop at tops, you can rock a subtle anchor print on denim. Also from The Limited, these 678 Anchor Printed Shorts are super comfortable. Pair with a plain t-shirt and head to a cookout with family and friends. They sell for $54.90 at full price.
If you want to bring some summer into the office, this Anchor & Polka Dot Print Top from Forever 21 shore is work friendly and at $19.80 it won’t break your bank. This is nice because it strays from the typical red and navy. It also offers a little more coverage if you work in air conditioning.
I purchased these Madden Girl “Grip” shoes from Bon-Ton to wear with shorts and capris. They’re so comfortable and feel like I’m walking on a cloud. They’re currently on sale for $39.99, but I used a coupon and got them even cheaper!
If you have more money to work with, you might love these Nautical Smile Wedges available on ModCloth.com. I think these are absolutely adorable with the anchors, rope details, and they even say “Hello Sailor.” Unfortunately, their price tag of $124.99 will keep them from being mine.
Betsey Johnson offers a boat load of amazing anchor jewelry. All different colors (blue, red, pink, and green) as well as styles. If you like blue and want a short chunky necklace, I recommend checking your local Bon-Ton or Macy’s for a necklace like the one above. The designer’s collection also offers longer light-weight necklaces. Additionally, she offers anchor rings, and earrings (both stud, chain, and mismatch.) The prices range from about $35 to $150.
If Betsey’s out of your price range or not your style, you might like this simple Steer My Heart necklace from Mod Cloth. I like that this incorporates mint which is knot a typical nautical color. This necklace only costs $12.99.
What anchor accessories are you loving?
This trend isn’t only for women. I have seen anchors on shorts and tops for men and children too! Just be sure your entire family doesn’t all wear anchor print the same day.
