Breast Cancer Awareness Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo
This post is a BIG DEAL. It's my first repeat review because every October since 2010 I have purchased this product. Read more to find out why you should too.
Monday October 14 2013
This is the 4th year that I have purchased Tigi’s Breast Cancer Awareness Bed Head Rockaholic Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo. Why? A.) It’s the best dry shampoo. B.) Any other month, this product is $17.99 and in a black bottle, but in October it’s pink and only $7.99 at Ulta.
I’m pretty sure this is the first time in SJSC history that I’ve done a repeat review. Yes, I reviewed this dry shampoo way back in 2011 when I was a newbie.
Why do I love this stuff so much? I’ve tried a decent number of dry shampoos and I’ve never liked one as much as Bed Head Rockaholic Dirty Secret. Cheaper ones leave too much white residue in my hair. Some smell weird and chemically. Others make my scalp itchy. I have zero issues with this brand!
I don’t use it that often so 2 bottles will last me well on my way to next October. I typcially only use this once or twice a week in an effort to make my red hair stay brighter longer (or if I’m having a lazy day.)
This year they even added a bonus which was a pleasant and unnecessary surprise. All of the Tigi Breast Cancer Awareness products came with pink ribbon hair ties.
I love this type of hair tie. It’s like The Twistband ones I’ve received in a couple of my Birchboxes.
As if the reduced price and free hair ties weren’t enough….I had one of the $3.50 off a purchase of $10 Ulta coupons! I got 2 bottles for $13.23 after taxes. That’s much better than $35.98 which I honestly would never pay. I’ve never had a bottle of this that wasn’t the Breast Cancer Awareness edition.
My recommendation: Go stock up on Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo now! If you can’t make it to an Ulta store, you can try to order online. Help support a great cause and get a great product for an amazing price!

I do the same thing, Kelly! I’m just starting to run low on last year’s bottles. Yesterday I received the latest Ulta catalog and these were pictured so I’d check your local store or http://www.ulta.com.
I buy this EVERY YEAR from Ulta and I haven’t seen them yet. Do you have any idea if they will be selling them again this year? I literally stock up for the year with these pink bottles. Thanks!
