While Ariel may be my favorite Disney princess, Snow White is a close second so I was happy to see e.l.f Cosmetics release a Snow White Collection. I managed to control myself and only purchased two sets from this collection.
Similar to the Ariel collection’s Treasure Within Beauty Book, this collection also features a beauty book called The Fairest of Them All.
The Fairest of Them All Beauty Book includes 7 eyeshadows, eye primer, eyeliner, sponge eyeshadow applicator, blush, a small blush brush, and a lip color for only $9.99! Plus a mirror that says “Mirror, Mirror on the wall…” underneath it!<3
This beauty book also comes with step-by-step instructions for a fairytale look so you can live happily ever after.
The 7 eyeshadows are all neutral shades. From lightest to darkest: I’m Wishing, Diamond Mine, Heigh-Ho, Yodel, One Song, Enchanted Forest, and My Prince. I don’t love these eyeshadows because 4 are really light and the other 3 remind me of the colors of bruises.
I love the blush called Keep Singing. It gives you the perfect hint of bashfulness while remaining fair. It’s a little difficult to see the swatch of the blush above, but it’s a gorgeous peach shade. I’ve included a swatch of the lip color which says “Brett” on its bottom label. It’s a glittery pink-red.
The other item I bought was The Fairest of Them All Lip Collection which includes a lip stain, shimmer lip gloss, and lip balm tint for $4.99.
From top to bottom: Crimson Crush stain, Ruby Kiss gloss, and Berry balm. (The sticker on my lip stain actually says “Crison” Crush, but I feel like that’s a error?) The Lip Stain and Lip Gloss are darker than I had expected.
According to the box, this perfect trio creates long lasting lip color for kissable lips all day long. It says to apply the Lip Stain and allow to dry. Then, apple the Lip Balm for moisture and finally apply the Shimmer Lip Gloss for a dazzling sparkle finish.
Overall the Snow White Collection is okay, but I liked the Ariel Collection much better. Sets that I didn’t buy include brushes, eyelashes, and a nail kit which you can look for at your local Walgreens or online here.
