I had to update my billing information and it created a hiccup with my Birchbox this month. I got it a few days late, but I did receive it. This month’s theme was “Power Play.” Inspired by the USA series SUITS, the samples in the July box were about helping take control of any situation.

Here’s what I got…

Caldrea Body Lotion. My 2 sample packets were both Tea Olive Lime. It’s a fresh natural scent, yet it kind of reminds me of a sunscreen scent for some reason. I do like this lotion, it’s not greasy at all. I couldn’t even feel the lotion on my hands after using it. It’s vegan and contains no parabens or artificial colors.

I.C.O.N. India Oil is a blend of argan and other oils to strengthen hair. My hair is damaged so I’ll give this a try and see if it helps.

I like the idea of ModelCo Party Proof Lipstick. It’s supposed to be long-lasting and non-drying color that won’t come off on your drink or significant other. I’ll have to see how long-lasting this is and if it can stand up to the likes of Lime Crime. It smells really good, like candy or fruit punch.

This sample is the “Suits Pick.” Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream repairs skin damage and provides hydration for up to 26 hours.

The Beauty Extra this month was Bobby Pins. I think these are cute and I will use them. A set of 6 costs $5.
