I’ve been a huge Paramore fan for at least 7 years and I’ve always been in love with Hayley Williams’ bright hair. I was excited last month when I found out that Mac Cosmetics and Hayley Williams were teaming up for a collection. When it was released on April 9th, I was slightly disappointed that the collection only consisted of 4 items.

The day the collection was released I decided to order the lipstick and eyeshadow. I actually love coral/orange eyeshadows and already own a few, but I don’t have any Mac eyeshadows. Orange lips have been a celebrity trend lately so I figured I’d give it a try too. The 2 items I didn’t buy are an orange nail polish and a mineralize skin finish.

I was also a little disappointed that they didn’t do anything special for the packaging. On the website you can see the products themselves are the typical Mac black, but I thought maybe their boxes would have some bright colors or mention of Hayley on them.

Sounds Like Noise is a true bright orange lipstick. It’s definitely orange and I actually do like the color on me. It’s vibrate, but not obnoxious. This lipstick is long-lasting and I didn’t have issues with it transferring to anything.

Daydreaming is a coral eyeshadow with a frost finish. I like that this eyeshadow looks nice when worn with Sounds Like Noise without them perfectly matching. The coral and orange look nice together and are great for spring or summer. Below is a swatch of Daydreaming.

Overall, I like these products and have already used them a few times. Mac’s shipping is super fast, I ordered these on the 9th and received them on the 11th. If you’re a Hayley Williams fan, you definitely need to order these. They’re online only, so you can purchase them in Mac stores.
