I came home from work to my March box, I actually forgot it was Birchbox time again already. This month’s Birchbox theme is March Madness. I think this was unexpected and creative since sports and beauty supplies aren’t a common combination. “This box is filled with products that make the cut- from up-and-coming rookies to veteran all-stars.”
All the details of what’s inside…
Inside the small Birchbox insert was a “special bonus shop offer” that I won’t use because I already bought Benefit’s new concealer and have samples of BADgal mascara. It also included Whish Shave Crave shaving cream in Blueberry. I noticed this scent as soon as I opened the box. It smells fake like candy or cough syrup, but in an oddly good way. The full-size product costs $20. This would have to be miracle shaving cream for me to pay that much, but I’ll definitely give the sample a try.
January’s box included a shampoo which wasn’t for color treated hair, so it was a waste to me. This month’s box included another shampoo which is a thumbs down. However, it’s Nick Chavez Beverly Hills Color-Savor Sulfate-Free Shampoo which is a thumbs up.
Make is a company that I’ve never heard of. I like their black and white packaging and that one-third of all sales goes to the We See Beauty Foundation. I received a Make Face Primer and eyeshadow.
The eyeshadow is a dark brown called “Burnt Umber.” I wish I would have received a different color. This is way too dark for me. I will have to use this as a liner or in my crease for smokey eyes. I think this is such a cute little sample eyeshadow though.
Beauty Extra:
This month’s beauty extra is a floral Madewell for Birchbox emery board just in time for spring.
This month’s box isn’t super exciting, but it isn’t the most horrible Birchbox ever. I like the themes they’re coming up with this year and want to see what the spring/summer holds.

You got different stuff than I did. I liked my box better. Two shampoos in a row!! That’s cra-zy.
