You’ve probably seen the commercials for imPRESS press-on manicures with Nicole Scherzinger. “The revolutionary way to apply polish.” I decided to give them a try.

The press-on polish comes in what looks like a nail polish bottle. The package I bought was a little damaged, but it was the last one my CVS had in this design and I wanted it.

You get 24 press-on “nails.” They come in all different sizes, to get the perfect fit. I also like that you get 24 so you can get at least 2 uses out of one purchase.

This pretty pink, black, and silver design is called “Shout.”

After a couple days the polish/design did start to wear and chip off.

 Overall Thoughts:

I really love the design that I purchased and these were easy to put on, just peel and stick. However, they did come off easily too. I had about half of them fall off within a day or two and ended up using nail glue to put them back on.  These are supposed to give you a “salon-perfect manicure without the drying time of polish or nail glue,” but I ended up using nail glue, so that claim fails.

If you need a cute manicure for the weekend or for a big date, these are a quick and affordable option. If you’re looking for a long lasting manicure, these won’t do the job. Also, if you have long nails, these all just come in one average length.

I like that for only about $8, there is zero drying time, I can get a cool design that would cost a lot more to get done at a nail salon, and these protect my think weak nails more than normal nail polish.

Would I buy them again? I probably will, but I will also be prepared to use nail glue with them. I will only buy the cool designs that I wouldn’t be able to create myself. If I just want a solid color or shatter, I would choose normal nail polish over the press-on kind.

ImPRESS manicures come in about 30 different colors and designs. You can purchase them at your local CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, or Rite Aid. Check out their website here.
