I’ve been subscribed to Birchbox for a couple years now and I decided to get my son a monthly subscription box too. He loves Superheroes, Power Rangers, Star Wars, and cartoons so Nerd Block Jr. seemed like the perfect choice.

I certainly wasn’t wrong! My son, Hayden, was so excited when this arrived that he tore into the box by himself and I had to quickly take photos so I could post a review. Here’s what he received in his first box.

Nerd Block Jr. offers boxes for both boys and girls from ages 6-11. It costs $13.99 plus $6.00 shipping each month. I’m not completely sure how much these toys are worth, but I was satisfied with July’s box.

This box made my son really happy and contained all characters and items he genuinely liked. Of course, he liked the toys more than the magazine, but he does like puzzles and jokes. Unsure if you should subscribe? Nerd Block Jr. can be an incentive for doing chores, getting A’s in school, or can help teach some patience, and save you trips to toy stores.
