Benefit Blush set

Each holiday season, I anxiously await to see what holiday sets will be released. So many beauty companies offer spirited packaging, sample sizes, and great prices. I couldn’t resist purchasing an adorable holiday set from Benefit this year when Sephora had their 20% Friends and Family promotion in November.

Cheeky Sweet Spot

Cheeky Sweet Spot is a cute Christmas candy shop on the outside. It’s perfect for sitting on a vanity this December.

Benefit Holiday set

Inside the candy shop are six of Benefit’s famous box o’ powder blushes, in addition there’s a brush and a little sample of Watt’s Up highlighter (which I love and use daily.) That’s apparently a $119 value for only $36 and if you actually purchased six of the full-size blushes, it would cost $168. Therefore, this is a really great way to get more bang for your buck.

Benefit blushes

The only Benefit box o’ powders absent from the Cheeky Sweet Spot set are Dallas and Hervana. Luckily, I already own Hervana (and Sugarbomb actually.) Now let’s take a closer look at the beauties included…

dandelion

Dandelion is a sheer ballerina pink brightening face powder with just a touch of shimmer.

bellabamba

Bella Bamba is a 3D watermelon blush that’s laced with shimmering gold undertones.

sugarbomb

Sugarbomb offers 4 complimenting, shimmering shades of peach, soft plum, pink and rose powders. Use separately or swirl together.

hoola

Hoola is a matte bronzing powder, the only matte in this set.

Coralista

Coralista is a warm coral-pink shimmering blush.

rockateur

Rockateur is a rockin’ rose gold cheek powder with subtle shimmer.

I have yet to hit bottom on the full-size box ‘powders I own which is why I prefer sets like this where I can have six smaller ones instead only being able to afford one. After all, who doesn’t like having options? I’m so happy that I got my hands on this set as it appears to be selling out online. I suggest heading to your local Sephora to track one down for yourself or to gift to a makeup lover in your life.
