If you follow me on Instagram, you know I started a new skincare routine weeks ago. I had ordered this cleanser prior to that decision, but found a way to work it into this new routine. If you travel or have sensitive skin, you’re likely to love product!

9 To 5 Cleansing Lotion from Lush is a gentle facial cleanser. “Made with almond oil, dove orchids and everlasting flower absolute to remove your leftover make up, dirt and grime at the end of a long work day.”

What makes this cleansing lotion different from other cleansers? You don’t need water! Just work onto your skin and then wipe off. Easy Peasy!

It does look and feel like a light lotion. It even has lotion packaging. 9 To 5 is available in two sizes, 3.3 oz and 8.5 oz.

My favorite use for this Lush product is removing eye makeup. It’s so gentle but does a good job. I also like using this before my usual cleanser to help keep my Clarisonic brush clean and makeup free.

As always, Lush provides “fresh handmade” products with stickers that let you know when your item was made. They also have helpful Best If Used By dates. I love this because I tend to get on bath & body kicks and these dates remind me to not hoard things.

Overall Thoughts: 9 to 5 is quite the way to make a living and this product gets the job done. I don’t necessarily think this is an every day sole cleanser as I prefer to use a more deep cleansing product with water and my Clarisonic. However, 9 To 5 Cleansing Lotion does have some great benefits!

I highly recommend buying this if you travel a lot or are planning some road trips, camping, or trips to the beach this summer. The 3.3 oz size costs $10.95 and isn’t heavy or bulky. With how easy it is to use, no water required, it was made for travel! (At least road travel…TSA may not agree with taking this on planes.) This is also the perfect cleanser to leave at a significant other’s house if you don’t want to practically move in with all the beauty products you require just for sleeping over one night.
