This month it seemed like I would never get my Birchbox. I received a shipping confirmation email, but the tracking number was UPS when for years, I’ve always received USPS tracking numbers. A week after receiving the email, I still had no box and was unable to track the package. I actually wrote Birchbox an email and I received my April box a couple days later…geesh. I only live a state away and usually get them much faster.

To go along with the April showers, the theme for April was Rainy Days. “We’re embracing that rainy-day mentality: Why not shut the blinds and curl up with a good book, or spend a luxurious afternoon playing with beauty samples?”

Each box came with a bright idea for rainy days…

I got Tip 42 of 52 which recommended watching Tara Stiles videos. This would have been a super helpful tip, if her videos weren’t already the only yoga videos I will watch (on the rare occasion that I’m not too lazy for yoga.)

In my April Birchbox I received BijaBody Daily Body Serum which contains honey and botanical oils. You can massage this onto arm, legs, and anywhere that needs moisture.

Color Club in Aquamarine Azulino is the highlight of this box. I like this shimmery pale blue color and will definitely use it. The color was created for style blogger Gala Gonzalez’s collection Gala’s Gems.

This Cynthia Rowley Black Eyeliner has adorable packaging with gold dots, but seriously another eyeliner?!

I almost screamed when I saw ANOTHER hair oil in my box, but luckily Davines Oi All in One Milk seems a little different. This is a leave-in spray that detangles and offers shine, volume, and heat protection.

The Lifestyle Extra this month was a KIND Snacks Healthy Grain Bar. I HATE when Birchbox includes food, tea, etc. I HATE IT. Nobody wants these, Birchbox.
