Wow, it’s been a month since my last post…After 5 months of winter, I was just in a seasonal depression funk, but this week the sun came out and it finally stopped snowing! So I’m going to ease back into blogging with a simple post about Birchbox before getting into new goodies.

March 2015 Birchbox

Okay, the March box might be cuter than the February one! Props to the team that has been designing the boxes lately.

Birchbox Creativity

As the box itself reflects, this “theme” is all about Creativity which got me excited about what would be inside. Unfortunately, the box designers are doing a better job than whoever chooses the samples…

Elite Therapeutics Body Creme

Elite Therapeutics Rosemary Eucalyptus Body Creme contains 70% organic ingredients which sounds nice, but I just don’t need another lotion sample. Birchbox got me hooked on Harvey Prince Hello Body Cream and I recently purchased the full-sized one so I’m well stocked for now.

Its a 10

I was disappointed with receiving It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product because I already have this exact same sample. I’m not sure where I got the first one from, but after searching here it doesn’t appear to have been from Birchbox.

Jelly PongPong GlowGetter

GlowGetter Highlighter

At first I thought this was a nail polish, but it’s Jelly Pong Pong Glow Getter Highlighter and oh do I love highlighters! This is definitely my favorite sample of the month. Look how gold and shimmery it is!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish

Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser

This is at least an interesting product… Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser is a British-award winning two-step purifying ritual. You soak the muslin cloth in hot water and use it to wipe off the cleanser.

Roloxin Lift

This sample of Roloxin Lift may not look like it, but it covered the cost of what I paid for the box. A set of 10 costs $110, so these two are worth $22. I enjoy masks and will give these a try. Does the packaging remind anyone else of condoms though?

Honestly, I think I’m in a Birchbox rut and may cancel for a while. I did this once before and when I returned the samples seemed new and exciting again.

Have you recently cancelled your Birchbox subscription? If you started a new beauty box subscription, which one was it? Comment below!
