Benefit: They’re Real! Push-Up Liner
BEFORE IT HITS STORES on June 27th, check out my review of Benefit Cosmetics' They're Real! Push-Up Liner. I've even included my thoughts on They're Real! mascara.

Benefit had an offer on their website where you could sign up to order their new They’re Real! Push-Up Liner before it hits stores in late June. Of course I had to take advantage of this!
What’s the big deal with this eyeliner? Well, it’s the FIRST EVER lash-hugging gel liner in a pen!
Compared to Benefit Cosmetics’ usual quirky packaging, They’re Real! has more of a dark look to go with it’s “criminally sexy” theme.
They’re Real! Push-Up Liner claims to be waterproof, long wearing, and lash-hugging. I can’t say that I disagree. I easily applied this the very first time and wore it when I went to an amusement park. It managed to last all day, through a water ride and downpour of rain! It’s pretty difficult to wash off at night so I wasn’t surprised to find out that Benefit will also be releasing a makeup remover to accompany this.
Besides the awesome matte black gel formula of this product, its secret lies in the soft angled AccuFlex™ tip. This tip hugs the lashline from corner to corner and provides great control in creating a smooth line, thin or thick.
This Push-Up Liner shares a name with it’s long-wearing sister product, They’re Real! Mascara. I have a sample size of this formula that claims to lengthen, curl, volumize, lift & separate. While it’s not my #1 favorite mascara, it’s probably in my top 5. It doesn’t clump, smudge, or flake.
I’ve been drawn to the cat eye look lately so this liner is coming out at the perfect time for me. To be honest, I’m pretty awful when it comes to eyeliner application. They’re Real! is so easy to use, even for beginners, and is a must-have product for achieving the perfect cat eye. I’m not sure how much the remover will cost, but the I think the liner is well worth the $24 investment.

UPDATE: After a few months of use, I have found that some of the gel dries up inside and clogs the tip. You might think you’re running low on product, but if you twist too much the soft tip ends up swelling. Solutions seem to be A.) using the product every single day, or B.) only twisting once or twice. Then, gently squeezing the tip until the dried clump comes out. The fresh, moist product is still fabulous so I hope Benefit can may be perfect this product in the future.
