China Glaze Pink Voltage Review

China Glaze Pink Voltage

Pink Voltage is the first China Glaze color I ever purchased. I have used this product quite a few times in the past couple months and this is my personal opinion on it.

I bought my first China Glaze polish a few months ago. I chose the color Pink Voltage. I purchased it at my local Ulta for about $6.99. I was looking for the brightest and prettiest pinks I could find and this ended up being the winner that went home with me.

The color is a gorgeous neon pink that almost appears to have a purple-y iridescence to it. If you want girly nails that stand out, this color will do it. Pink Voltage also looks good on toes. It’s currently on my toenails!

The picture below is my attempt at showing  how in some lighting this pink looks kind of purple.

Not only is this my favorite because of the color, but because it’s a quality product. It is actually called “Nail Laquer with Hardeners” and it does strengthen your nails. I got my nails done and had this polish on the fake gel nails, so I couldn’t tell any difference between the China Glaze and other nail polishes. However, when my fake nails come off my real nails are usually left paper thin and break right away. The last time I decided to not get my nails redone, I put the China Glaze in Pink Voltage on my brittle real nails and they didn’t break as much! In fact, they didn’t really break at all, this nail laquer kept my weak nails from cracking and breaking.

The following two pictures show Pink Voltage on my fake nails and my real ones.

Another thing I like about this product is that it dries quickly. I’m impatient, not great at doing my nails, and when I do my nails my son usually needs something and my polish ends up a smudged mess. Some brands make specific lines that are quick drying. My China Glaze in Pink Voltage does not advertise anything about its drying speed, but I’m always smudge free when I use this.

I definitely recommend China Glaze and if you like bright pink then you need to try Pink Voltage. If you’re used to buying cheaper nail polish at your local drug store, than $6.99 may seem pricey, but China Glaze is much better than a $2 nail polish, the ones I have tried anyways. Plus, there are brands that do cost more.

I’ve been trying to find some other China Glaze colors to purchase, but I’m picky and my Ulta  always has slim pickings.

What do you think of this color?

I love Coconut Kiss by China Glaze. It’s the best purple out there when it comes to nail polish if you ask me ;)
