Cute Summer Wedges

I love wedges! I found perfect ones for summer and you will love them too.

I love wedges! They make me taller, are easy to walk in, and are comfortable. Most of the time I just wear flip flops in the summer. However, for a date night, work, or just for wearing with a cute dress wedges are great. I’ve been on a search for nude shoes and new wedges, so I was thrilled to find both in one pair of shoes! Meet Candie’s Dania Espadrilles available at Kohl’s.

They are peep toe with a little flower/ruffle detail. I got the “blush” or nude color because this color goes with everything. These also come in black. I don’t have long toes so I usually can’t wear peep toe shoes, but my toes aren’t hidden in these. I normally wear a size 6 1/2 or 7, but in these I bought a size 6. However, I saw a review on the Kohl’s website where one woman actually went up a size, so if possible try these on in the store. (Maybe my short toes are the reason I had to go down a size.)

I wore these shoes to my retail job one day with skinny jeans and a white short-sleeve suit jacket. I got quite a few compliments and people asking me where I got my shoes from. Another day, I was wearing them with a cute dress and an Ulta employee told me she liked them.

I like that theses wedges have the shiny patent look which makes them more dressy, but the wedge has a woven straw material that gives them a casual look as well. I can’t wait for some more sunny days to wear these again.

These have a 1 1/4 inch platform and a 3 1/2 inch heel, which isn’t that bad if you’re worried about the heels being too high. I was able to easily walk in these.
