Holiday Polishes from China Glaze
I have two colors from China Glaze's Let It Snow Holiday 2011 Collection so of course I want to share my thoughts and photos of them. Do you plan on expressing holiday spirit on you nails??
Friday December 2 2011
China Glaze is my favorite nail polish company and I decided to buy one of their Holiday polishes when I was at Ulta awhile back. I also already owned one of the other polishes from their Holiday 2011 Collection, so I guess it actually isn’t a new color.
Here’s all the colors in the collection. (Click image to view larger.)
The color I’ve owned since the summer is called Snow Globe. It’s a clear polish with different colored glitter. The pieces of glitter are actually fairly big compared to the glitter in the polish I will discuss next.
This is a good polish to put on top of other colors that need a little sparkle. Here’s a swatch of Snow Globe on white paper.
Twinkle Lights in the color I recently purchased. It’s red, green, and gold glitter which just screamed Christmas to me, I had to buy it. However, when I put it on my nails I was disappointed. It appears very gold. I would have liked it better if there was less gold glitter and more red and green. There is also no color besides the glitter so I think this would look better over a green or red nail polish. (Click image to view larger.)
I received a green Zoya polish called Holly in my November Birchbox. I think Twinkle Lights would look good over that. I will try it out and then update this post with a photo.
You can purchase these online, at Ulta or anywhere that sells China Glaze products.
