I first heard about Maybelline’s NEW Dream Bouncy blush from Macbarbie07 on Youtube. I thought they sounded neat, but couldn’t find them at my local Ulta or any drugstores. After searching for almost 2 weeks, they appeared last week! I bought one, liked it and bought two more.

They are kind of small, they’re not even two inches across. However, there is actually quite a bit of blush in them, I think each one will last awhile. Instead of your typical powder or cream blushes these are a “revolutionary powder-gel formula.”

So, why are they called Bouncy?? They bounce! If you gently push your finger into the product, it bounces back. They are almost kind of squishy. It’s hard to describe, but it’s really neat. It’s like makeup and a toy in one. lol.

Dream Bouncy blush is available in about 10 different shades. I always buy pink blushes, so I tried to stay away from the pink ones and bought colors that I don’t already have. Here are the  colors I purchased…

Plum Wine

Candy Coral

Orchid Hush

I really like these blushes because they are buildable. Orchid Hush is less pigmented than the other two, but you can easily blend them out or build for a bolder look.

Without Flash

Bouncy blushes cost $7.79 each, but you may find them for Buy One Get One 50% off at certain stores like Walgreens, or Ulta.

All the colors are pretty, and they are very affordable. I like the texture and the fact that you can build the color for natural or bold looks. I like Maybelline Dream Bouncy blush better than my Urban Decay Afterglow Glide-On Cheek Tint. I definitely recommend checking out this new blush.

I purchased “Rose Petal” a couple of weeks ago and I like it but it’s soooo light and I feel like it doesn’t even last two hours. I have to put a powder blush on underneath it so when it fades, my powder blush will still be there and I won’t be walking around with no blush on! :) I may just need to try a different color though! Thank you for posting this!
