Even girly girls can love zombies! My nails inspired by the book and release of the movie, Warm Bodies. And of course I have to share my opinion on the film.

I got sick of my real nails and decided to get acrylics. I always paint my nails different shades of pink and wanted something different so I searched on Pinterest (endless nail inspiration on there.) I came across red & black and thought it’d be perfect since I was super excited for the release of the movie, Warm Bodies. Here’s how they turned out…

These colors are definitely out of the normal for me, but I like them. This look could even work for Valentine’s Day if you’re not a fan of white and/or pink. Although I had my nails done professionally this time, it’s super easy to paint a base color and then do the tips yourself.

My nails weren’t enough; I decided to get even more creative and used Sugerpill’s Love+ and Stella for a red & black eye look.

Have you seen Warm Bodies yet?

I read the book and it’s one of my favorites. So, I was afraid they were going to ruin the film and make it Twilight-y (I’m not a Twilight fan.) I saw the movie opening day and was pleasantly surprised. However, the book is definitely better! The book has so many small things that add depth to the story, which the movie doesn’t have time for. I also like that the book is more gory, which with a PG-13 rating, the film was unable to capture.
