I bought Neutrogena SkinClearing Makeup back in May of last year. I was not happy with my skin and thought this might help.

I bought the shade Buff 30. It’s a little bit darker than my skin, but I thought it would be okay for during the summer.

This makeup contains 0.5% Salicylic Acid and is oil-free. Other benefits are listed on the bottle. (Click image to view larger.)

I thought this was supposed to be a foundation, but the instructions call it “medication” and state that you should “cover the entire affected area with a thin layer 1 to 3 times daily.”

If you are trying to cover up acne or blemishes, this doesn’t give good coverage. When you put this on it is pretty much sheer. I wouldn’t recommend this as a foundation or even as a concealer. Basically, this makeup is only an acne treatment that you can put under your makeup and maybe even over your makeup throughout the day.

The couple times I used this, I didn’t notice any difference in my skin. It didn’t clear blemishes and I didn’t find it to be drying.

This makeup sits in one of my vanity drawers and I never use it.

Yep, I have that one, the concealer pen and the powder. I notice it does clear up some blemishes for me. It’s all I use now, I don’t use other foundations or anything. I’ve been breaking out a lot lately due to hormones so it helps a lot.
