The October Birchbox is my sixth month of receiving boxes. I like the whole idea of Birchbox, but I don’t always use all the samples I get so I think after the December box I’m going to cancel my subscription.

The theme for this month was Prep & Finish which the card explained.

Here’s everything I got in this month’s box…

1. Befine Lip Exfoliator 0.34 fl oz.

(BeLips Duo $25)

2. Caudalie Vinoperfect Cell Renewal Night Cream 4 ml

(30 ml $68)

3. Laura Geller Spackle Tinted Under Makeup Primer in Bronze 0.50 oz.

(2 oz. $25)

4. Orofluido Beauty Elixir 0.17 fl oz.

(3.4 fl oz. $29.99)

EXTRA Oribe Shampoo & Conditioner for Beautiful Color

I’m not really excited about this month’s box. I’m kind of sick of moisturizers, lip products, and hair products. I was happy that I got a break from a perfume sample, but I’d still like to get more cosmetics samples.

The stand out sample for me this month was definitely the Laura Geller Spackle. I LOVE my Laura Geller Blush N Brighten from the June Birchbox. I also saw Laura Geller on QVC and have been wanting to try Spackle. Ulta now carries Laura Geller products, but I haven’t had money to splurge on any so I was happy to get this sample.

I do like getting a monthly beauty surprise, but like I said, I will probably stop my Birchbox subscription going into 2012.

I have been a little disappointed in the birch box lately. I keep hoping that they will go back to the way they were earlier and when they gave out the blush and brighten, and the stila eyeshadows.

My Birchbox for this month was okay. I just received mine today and I got:
Befine Lip Serum, Blinc mascara, Pangea Organics Facial Mask, Orofluido Beauty Elixir, and some mints. I love mints and I tried their mints and threw them out. They tasted like soap! I had to double-check to see that they were edible and weren’t soap -_-;
