OPI Last Friday Night

O.P.I came out with a Katy Perry Collection earlier this year. I finally bought one of the colors, so here's a quick review on it.

OPI came out with a Katy Perry Collection earlier this year, I believe in January. Well, it took me until now to finally buy one of these nail polishes. So, you’ve probably already seen this, it’s not new, but oh well I’m going to review it anyways.

The color I decided to purchase was Last Friday Night, named after the Katy Perry song that frequents the radio these days.

This is a pretty blue glitter polish. The polish itself looks blue, but if you only do one coat it’s more of a clear glitter polish. In the bottle and after multiple coats, it does look blue.

I’ve seen a lot of people wear this under the black shatter or over a blue nail polish. Below are two swatches that I did with Last Friday Night. The top one is just 2-3 coats of Last Friday Night. The bottom swatch is Last Friday Night over the OPI Turquoise Shatter. Yes, OVER shatter polish because if shatter polish isn’t put over other nail polish, it doesn’t shatter. I wanted to demonstrate how you can apply this glitter over other colors or just wear it on it’s own.

I’m not a huge fan of blue nail polish, but I do like Last Friday Night. I love sparkles and glitter. I applied about 4-5 coats of it on my nails for a crazy glittery effect and I love it!

I think Last Friday Night would also look great over blue, navy, black, purple, and silver nail polishes.

I am not sure if the Katy Perry Collection is still available in stores, but you can check your local Ulta. I ordered this nail polish online, which might be your best bet.
