Pink Bow Bath Boutique

Pink Bow Bath Boutique is a homemade bath and body company based in Arizona. This is my review on some of their lotions that I recently purchased.

I was searching online for indie bath and body companies and was so excited to find Pink Bow Bath Boutique. Why? They have the best name ever! Anybody that knows me, knows I love the color pink and I love bows! I buy clothes, shoes, purses, jewelry, anything with bows. I actually want a pink bow tattoo, but haven’t had money to spare on one. So, definitely the best name ever!

I was amazed at the amount of scents that the Pink Bow Bath Boutique offers, I couldn’t decide what to get. I eventually decided on the Pink Sampler Pack and Shimmering Whipped Body Frosting in the scent Pink Beach Bunny. (There is also another sampler, that includes the most popular scents, not just the pink scents.) With my package I received 2 free samples.

PACKAGING:

The free samples came in a little bag, the sampler items were in a pink bag and the Shimmering Whipped Body Frosting was wrapped in pink tissue paper. The labels on the items are cute. Black, white and, of course, pink. I purchased a sampler pack, the ingredients weren’t listed on those items, but the non-sampler item I purchased came with a pink ribbon tied in a bow with a tag that listed all the ingredients.

The name of the product and the scent was listed on the back or bottom of each item.

PRODUCTS & PRICES:

Between the sampler pack and the other item I purchased, there were 4 different sizes. The Shimmering Whipped Body Frosting was 2 oz. The sampler pack included a 1 oz. item, three 1/2 oz. items, four 1/3 oz. items and the two free samples were also 1/3 oz.

The Pink Sampler Pack was $10 for 8 items, plus I got the 2 free samples. I basically paid $1 each for those items, which is a great price! The Shimmering Whipped Body Frosting was $6 for 2 oz. This price is reasonable, compared to other indie B&B companies.

I am so happy I purchased the Shimmering Whipped Body Frosting in Pink Beach Bunny. It’s moisturizing, absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave my skin greasy. The shimmer is subtle and nice. A lot of the shimmer ends up on my hands, but I still like this body frosting. The picture below shows the shimmer.

The sampler pack included Pink Bow Bath Boutique’s three different types of lotion, Silky Skin Souffle, Beautiful Body Butter and Whipped Body Frosting. The Silky Skin Souffle is the lightest. This is good for the summer. The Beautiful Body Butter is the thickest. It would make a good winter lotion. The Whipped Body Frosting is in between the other two. This is a great option for everyone and good for all year round. You can tell the difference just by looking at these products. In the picture below, they are from left to right, Whipped Body Frosting, Beautiful Body Butter, and Silky Skin Souffle.

SCENTS:

Obviously, not everybody likes the same scents, but this is my personal opinion on the Pink Bow Bath Boutique scents I received. (For the most part I like fruity, sugary, or vanilla scents. I’m not really a floral person. I’m also not big into chocolate or coconut scents.) I had my boyfriend smell all of the products as well so I could have a second person’s opinion and a male perspective.

My absolute favorite is Pink Beach Bunny, the scent I chose for my Shimmering Whipped Body Frosting. The description on the website sounded good, but it actually smells AMAZING!!! In the future, I will be buying more products in this scent, it’s so delicious. My other favorites, in no specific order, are Pink Lime Sugar, Pink Berry Paradise, Pink Passion Sand Beaches, and Pink Cotton Sundresses.

Not all of Pink Bow Bath Boutique’s scent are “pink,” but I bought the Pink Sampler pack. My boyfriend’s two favorite scents were Pink Beach Bunny and Pink Sugared Coconut Cream Puffs. Luckily, he likes my favorite scent so he won’t mind when I smell like it (which will probably be often, because it’s so yummy smelling!)

CO. INFO:

Pink Bow Bath Boutique has a lot more than just lotions. They also sell sunless tanners, body polish, sugar scrubs, bar soaps, cream soaps, lip balms, room spray, hair care products, and more. You can check out Pink Bow Bath Boutique on Facebook and Etsy. They also have their own website.

If you purchase something from PBBB after reading this review, please let Amy, the owner, know by mentioning Skinny Jeans & Sippy Cups in the notes when making your purchasing. Thanks!

I’m gonna place my first order very soon! All the scents smell delicious, and Amy is just so lovely :) Nat – Amy ships internationally, which is fabulous because I’m in New Zealand

I LOVE PBBB! Living in Arizona, my skin tends to feel very dry kinda like the desert! I seem to have developed quite an addiction to both the beautiful body butter and the newer silky skin souffle! I have little (and bigger) pots of these stashed all over, my bath, bedside, all purses, desks, and sometimes, on trips in the car!!

My absolute favorite is Pink Sugar Noel. It just smells so much like Christmas. The Love Spell, which is a Vic. Sec. scent, is also absolutely incredible! And the owner is awesome. When I was in the hospital, the nurses fought over who got to take care of me each day because my room smelled so good from the lotion I brought with me. I emailed PBBB and she sent samples to the nurses on the floor! The ladies were so excited when I went back to see them a few weeks later–I hope she got lots of orders!
