September Birchbox

September is Birchbox’s anniversary month so they sent subscribers patterned keepsake boxes. I love the colors of the one I received! I’ll definitely use it for storage.

Fresh Paint

This month’s theme is “Fresh Paint” which is about turning a page on summer and diving into fall.

Avene Cleanance Cleanser

Avene’s Cleanance Soap-Free Gel Cleanser is infused with French thermal spring water and is supposed to be great for blemish-prone skin. The instructions say you just lather it on and pat dry. I’m curious to see how well it works.

Hello perfume

I wasn’t surprised to receive a perfume sample because I frequently do. Hello by Harvey Prince is a citrus and floral scent.

Macadamia Professional

I’ve received so many hair oils from Birchbox this year, but I’m happy this Macadamia Professional Healing Oil Spray is at least larger and a spray version. It’s supposed to combat frizz, boost shine, and block UV rays.

This next sample is pretty tiny. It’s actually smaller than the logo on the box.

Temptu SB Highlighter

Temptu S/B Highlighter in Champagne Shimmer is a liquid shimmer highlighter which helps create a nice dewy glow.

Tocca Crema de Mano

I like my sample of Tocca Crema da Mano Hand Cream in Bianca which has a pleasant Green Tea and Lemon scent. It is moisturizing without being greasy and will be useful when my hands get dry in the fall and winter.

ChapStick HydrationLock

In my September box, I also received a full-size Chap Stick Hydration Lock. It’s a dual-end Chap Stick with one side called “Moisture” and one side is “Renew.” Along with my hands, my lips get dry in the colder seasons so I’m sure I’ll get plenty of use out of this product too.

The actual box was my favorite part of this month’s box, so I think it may be time for me to redo my profile/survey. Fingers crossed for more exciting samples in October!
