I wasn’t totally thrilled with the July and September boxes I received, however this month was better. I will actually use all the items I got! Also, the shipping was much faster. I got the e-mail that my September box shipped on the 10th and received it on the 12th. Check out what I got…

The theme this month was “Thank you,” celebrating the customers since Birchbox has now celebrated their 1st Birthday.

I’ve been wanting to try those Sally Hansen Salon Effects Strips, so I was happy to receive the nail appliques shown in the next two photos. Blue wouldn’t have been my first choice, but I’ll still try them out when I’m feeling in the mood for this color.

I was also happy to receive a new moisturizer. It’s an all-natural face cream for normal to combination skin and I have combination skin. I have yet to find a moisturizer that I really love, so I look forward to using this. It is Nigerian Ginger with Lavender & Thyme.

I love lip products so can’t really go wrong with this little guy. It’s a lip enhancer/conditioning lip treatment. It’s sheer light pink in color and is supposed to hydarte, plump, and condition lips.

I’m not a huge perfume fan, I like body sprays better. However, I am not disappointed with the perfume sample I received. A jasmine and sandalwood scent is not something I’d expect to like, but surprisingly I do like it. The sample itself is bigger than other perfume samples I have received from Birchbox.This perfume is also really cool because it is made from sustainable ingredients and 10% of sales go directly to Global Green, an environmental non-profit.

The last item in my September box was a Birchbox friendship bracelet. It’s a cute, pink, string bracelet.

Overall, I am happy with this month’s box because they are all items that I can use. They won’t go to waste.

My sample facial cream was 1 fl oz and 2 fl oz. costs $36.

The sample size was 0.07 fl oz. The full-size is 0.33 fl oz. for $14.

4.LIV GRN- Earth Eau de Parfum

My sample does not say a size on it, but 3.4 fl oz. costs $60.
