Spring/Easter eye looks

I usually do reviews and I'm not a makeup artist, but here are some simple and bright colored looks for your eyes, inspired by Easter!

I usually do reviews, but I’ve been feeling inspired by spring and Easter while doing my makeup this week. I thought I’d share some simple Easter eye looks. I’m not a makeup artist, and as a mom I do fairly simple looks. For these, I didn’t use eyeliner or fake eye lashes. I have bangs, so I like to wear brighter eyeshadow colors that you can see under my hair. You can do these same type of looks with lighter shades.

These are looks using my favorite eyeshadows and mascara, (and primer) that’s it! On Easter I hope you can find some time in between traveling, cooking, and Easter egg hunts to put on some bright and fun Easter eyes!

You can use different colors, brands, and do your makeup however you want. I hope these looks just bring you a little bit of inspiration. Sorry that the photos aren’t the best quality. All these looks are very shimmery in person.  Like I said before, I’m no makeup artist and I did these fairly quickly.

For this Pink & Purple look I used Sugarpill eyeshadows, Birthday Girl and Paperdoll.

This is a Glamour Doll Eyes look. Strawberry Cupcake on lid. My Belle & Doll House in crease. Angel Wings as highlight and FrankenGlamour on my lower lash line.

This one is mostly GDE. Dirty Jeans, Doll House and then on my lower lash line I used Pinky Swear over Fabulous. I used Sugarpill’s Lumi as a highlight and in the  inner corner of my eye.

This look is probably my favorite. I think I might do this for Easter. It’s Sugarpill Absinthe on the lid, Paper Doll on lower lash line, and then Lumi again.

Holidays are a great excuse to get dolled up with fun colors! If you’re looking for a whole palette of spring colors, I found this one at Ulta.

Lumi is an amazing color in person, it’s white but shimmers other colors. Check http://stores.ulta.com/store/ for the closest Ulta. I’m not sure how many different locations they have. :)

I love the lumi in the inner corner. I love all the colors! Where is Ulta? I’ve heard of it before but wasn’t sure on a location.
