Simply Kendra is yet another awesome indie makeup company. This review contains a bunch of photos, including me opening my package. This post will be similar to how I did my Birchbox review.

I made my first Simply Kendra purchase on Friday the 13th because if you spent $13 you would get 13 free samples! I forget how much I spent, but I think it was about $15 and I got five 3g jars of eyeshadow, plus 13 samples which should have cost $1 each. The following pictures are exactly what I received in the mail.

The last photo is everything I received in the package.

I love Simply Kendra’s packaging. Orange tissue paper, zebra tape, hand written note, a piece of candy!! Out of all the indie companies I have purchased from, Sugarpill and Simply Kendra have the best packaging. I also like how each eyeshadow has it’s own unique packaging with it’s own little symbol. The following two pictures show the cute packaging on the eyeshadow jars and sample baggies.

Okay, now for the important stuff, the actual eyeshadow. I was so impressed with these eyeshadows when I swatched them. (I use foiling medium to bring the best out in my eyeshadows.) The first photo is with flash, the second is without. Seriously, how pretty?!

The colors from top to bottom are: Poisoned Candy-Apple, Jealous Jill, My French Boyfriend, Madd Krush, and Miss Peaches. Poisoned Candy-Apple is a really cool color. It’s green with purple glitter.

The following are the Simply Kendra samples that I received. They are just swatched over NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk.

I highly recommend Simply Kendra. Great colors, fast shipping,  and amazing packaging. The eyeshadows come in either 3 gram jars, 5 gram jars or the sample baggies. They also have lip balms and blushes. You can check out Simply Kendra by clicking here.
