This is a continuation of my Simply Sweet Skin review, since the other post was getting long. In Part 1, I discussed all the full-sized items I received, this review will cover the samples I got.

PACKAGING:

Simply Sweet Skin has cute packaging, I didn’t have any problems with anything. The samples were also packaged nicely. They had labels with the name of the product and the scent. The samples do not have ingredients listed on them, but you can see the ingredients list on Simply Sweet Skin’s Artfire.

In Part 1 of my review, I stated that some of the colors on my Cool Mint Salt Scrub’s label ran after taking it into the shower. However, when I took my sample scrub into the shower and even put it directly under the water, the label was fine and no ink ran.

PRODUCTS & PRICES:

As stated in Part 1, I received these products for free. Simply Sweet Skin does offer a sample pack that you can purchase for $6. You can even choose the products and scents that you want to try. Check out the sample pack here.

The Solid Lotion sample came in a lip balm type tube. I had never tried a solid lotion before, but I was pleasantly surprised. I liked that I could apply it and not have the palms of my hands covered in lotion. This solid lotion made my dry legs look shiny and smooth without feeling greasy. I will discuss the scent in the “SCENTS” section of this review. The full-sized Solid Lotions actually come in two different sizes and cost $6.50 or $9.50. There is even a shimmer one available!

The Lemon Sugar Scrub is nice. I really love scrubs. I used this entire sample in one use. It’s exfoliating, but not harsh. I has little blueberry seeds in it, but they wash right off.  This made my skin feel soft and the lemon scent lingered on my skin for a little while after my shower. The Lemon Sugar Scrub did not irritate my skin or make it red. I like both of the scrubs I got to try from Simply Sweet Skin. The full-sized Lemon Sugar Scrub is in a 4 oz. jar and costs $9.

This is a sample of Simply Sweet Skin’s Body Frosting. I love this product! Various companies have body “frosting,” but none are like this. Think of frosting that you put on a cake, this has a similar fluffy texture to it! It’s light, fluffy, and soft. This is the most appropriately named body frosting that I have ever tried. I really like this product and want a full-sized one. The picture above is even after I used it and there’s quite a bit left. I love products where a little goes a long way. The full-sized Body Frosting sells for $10.25.

SCENTS:

I receive the Solid Lotion in Hawaiian Hibiscus. Hibiscus is a flower and I’m not typically into floral scents, but I do like this one. I’d say it’s actually more sweet than floral.

The Lemon Sugar scrubs does smell like lemon. It’s a nice lemon, NOT like pledge. It’s not overpowering, it’s just the right amount of lemon.

My Body Frosting sample was in the scent, Watermelon Taffy. It’s a pretty accurate name, it reminds me of Watermelon candy.

CO. INFO:

The owner of Simply Sweet Skin is a nurse, I really like that because I feel like she’s knowledgeable on the human body and knows how to be sanitary. I definitely feel that this is a company that I can trust. You can purchase from Simply Sweet Skin on Artfire.
