I have a bunch of items from Simply Sweet Skin that I need to review, so here’s the first of many more reviews on Simply Sweet Skin bath and body products. I love this company, and they have the BEST customer service!

This review is on 4 solid perfume sticks that I have. I got one as a free sample/gift with purchase and loved it, so I ordered 3 more. I actually bought these before they were even being offered on the Artfire shop. However, you can now purchased them for $3.99 each or 3 for $9.50.

I like that with these you don’t have to touch the actual solid perfume, just pop off the lid and swipe it on. I carry my “Rocker Chick” one around in my purse with me, because I use a spray that is the same dupe. When my spray wears off a little, I use my solid perfume. They are the perfect little size to take wherever you go.

The solid perfume sticks come in oval lip balm-type tubes that twist up.

I got my sticks in 4 Lush Dupes. “Rocker Chick” is a dupe for Rock Star, “Sugary Toffee” is Honey, I Washed the Kids, “Tease” is a dupe for Sex Bomb, and “Sweet Karma” is a Karma dupe.

The scent from a solid perfume does not last as long as with a perfume oil. Body sprays or body splashes usually don’t last as long as perfumes either. However, I personally prefer both over perfume, because they have less of that strong perfume-y smell.

The following pictures show a brand new one and then one I’ve used quite a bit, they get rounded out like a used chapstick.

These solid perfumes contain beeswax, cocoa seed butter, shea butter, macadamia seed oil, vitamin E, and  fragrance oil. That’s another thing I love about Simply Sweet Skin, the products are simple. They do not contain a bunch of chemicals, some of the sprays she sells only have 2 or 3 ingredients!

The solid perfume goes onto your skin almost like a solid lotion. It just soaks right in and you can’t feel it.

You get .15 oz. which may not sound like much, but you do get a lot. In my Simply Sweet Skin YouTube haul video I twisted one out to show how much you get, the tube is filled.

I don’t recommend doing this. It was a hot day and mine ended up breaking  :(  However, the ones I’ve been using properly have not broken!

My overall thoughts on these products…

I definitely recommend buying Simply Sweet Skin’s solid perfume sticks. They’re the perfect “to-go” size for in your purse or a clutch. They’re not a spray so they won’t leak on everything in your purse. You get 3 for $9.50, so at $3.16 each you get a lot of product and you only need to put a little on your wrists or wherever to smell yummy!

The Lush dupes smell delicious and if you want to try some of Simply Sweet Skin’s own scents these are a great way to sample a scent without paying full price for a product. Nothing is worse than spending $10 for a lotion that you end up hating the smell of. I’ll probably buy more of these in the future to try out scents I’m unsure of.

If you prefer sprays to solid perfumes, Simply Sweet Skin also has Mini Splasher Trios for $6 which are another great way to try out scents.

You can purchase these products and many more amazing ones from Simply Sweet Skin on Artfire.
