I have previously bought and reviewed Simply Sweet Skin’s Cool Mint Salt scrub. I loved it so when the Fourth of July sale came around, I decided to try the Coffee Sugar Polish Scrub.

I received my package very quickly, only a few days after ordering. In fact, I didn’t expect to receive it so quickly. It was wrapped in tissue paper and sealed. As with every Simply Sweet Skin order, I received a business card, cute sticker and a free sample. The free sample was a solid perfume, I have ordered more of them so look for a review on them soon.

The Coffee Sugar Polish Scrub is 4 oz. and sells for $9. I bought this when they were offering 40% off. 4 oz. may not seem like a lot, but believe me, it lasts awhile.

This is just like my Cool Mint scrub except for Sugar instead of salt. I like them both. They help get rid of dry skin and leave your skin soft. I use body scrubs more than I use regular soap or shower gel. Scrubs make my skin look and feel so much nicer. The following picture shows my scrub after using it at least 3 times. It contains no water, and I find that a little goes a long way. I still have yet to use up my first scrub from Simply Sweet Skin.

As you can see in the photos, there are actually tiny bits of coffee grounds in it. They rinse off easily though. They won’t be stuck to you. The ingredients of this scrub are: pure cane sugar, shea butter, cocoa butter, sunflower oil, soybean oil, ewax, stearic acid, cetyl alcohol, coffee grounds, vitamin e, fragrance oil, Optiphen (paraben free preservative).

I love Simply Sweet Skin’s products because they are handmade. For this scrub, no bases are used! Coffee’s caffeine and antioxidants are good for skin, plus this smells so good. It smells like walking into a coffee shop. It’s yummy, I really like it!

I think this scrub is perfect for a day when you need a pick-me-up or for showering in the morning before a busy day. The aroma will help wake you up before you even drink your first cup of coffee. The scent doesn’t really linger on your skin too much. Your perfume or body spray will cover it up, so don’t worry about anyone thinking you have bad coffee breathe (unless you do actually have coffee breathe.)

Never used a scrub before? You should. They help get rid of dry/dead skin, remove sweat & toxins that your skin secretes, stimulate skin, hydrate skin, and of course they make you smell nice.

I recommend Simply Sweet Skin’s Coffee Sugar Polish Scrub. It smells like a delicious coffee drink, gives a pick-me-up, leaves skin beautiful, and doesn’t leave a gross residue on your skin.
