For my second Summer Eyes post I chose five colors from the Hi-Fi Cosmetics “Here Comes the Sun” Collection. Hi-Fi is yet another awesome indie makeup company. They ship anywhere and according to their Facebook page, they have over 300 shades of eyeshadow! So, they definitely have a color for you.

Hi-Fi packaging is simple, but nice. I like the jars the eyeshadows comes in, they have a square bottom.

The swatches on the left were applied dry and the ones on the right are applied wet.

This color is called Pink Lemonade. Dry it didn’t turn out totally great, mostly just glitter. When applying it wet, it turned out to be a nice color.

This color is Dreamsicle. Once again applying it wet made a difference, however this one did turn out better dry than the previous color. I love orange eyeshadow so I really like this color!

This lovely pink is called Hula. I like this color, it’s pink and shimmery, but isn’t crazy hot pink. It’s a color you could wear everyday and I like it’s cute name.

Margaritaville is the name of this green. First of all, love that name! This is a pretty color. Most greens I have are light or very bright. This is a nice medium shade when applied wet. You can also use it dry for a lighter shade of green.

How pretty is this color?! It’s called Kokomo. This eyeshadow you can almost get two colors out of. When dry it looks like a pretty light blue, when applied wet it reminds me of a blue/green mermaid color.

I have heard about some negative experiences with Hi-Fi, but I personally had no issues. I received my items within a reasonable amount of time and the eyeshadows are high quality.

You can purchase Hi-Fi Cosmetics on Etsy or ArtFire. Most of the eyeshadows are $4.99, but Hi-Fi’s owner Veronica often has deals for percentages off. There are also deals like 10 for $35. Hi-Fi also has more than just eyeshadows, so check them out!
