This is my first of two reviews on summer eyeshadows. I chose these eyeshadows by their names, not their colors. However, all the colors will work for creating a summer look whether you want to use color or stick with neutrals.

First, I’ll tell you a little about the company, My Beauty Addiction. It’s based in Ohio and it’s lovely owner is Sherrie. Not only can you purchase mineral eyeshadow from MBA, but Sherrie also has tons of other products for sale. Makeup, skin care, bath products, etc. Check out MBA’s Etsy and be amazed!

If you like buying eyeshadow samples to try out different companies, to try before committing to buying full jars, or just to save some money then you will love MBA. Out of every independent makeup company I’ve ever bought from, MBA has the most generous eyeshadow sample baggies. I don’t want to insult anyone so I won’t mention names, but the following pictures show why MBA samples are the best! (MBA sample is on the right.)

Now onto the summer eyeshadow colors and swatches!!

The colors are Shimmering Sands, Aruba, Tequila Sunrise, Fiji, Hawaii, Aquadise, Seabreeze, and Pacific. They are all so pretty and shimmery, except Pacific which is matte (still pretty though.) I really love MBA eyeshadows. My Beauty Addiction is definitely one of my favorite companies. I also love MBA’s foiling medium which I use when doing most of my swatches.

Tequila Sunrise is amazing. It’s one of my favorites. For some reason I’m obsessed with any and all orange-ish shades of eyeshadow. Many people stick to the pinks, purples, blues, but seriously you need to try orange!

This review is only on a few of MBA’s color, but there are many more great colors, so look for more reviews in the future.
