I usually purchase bath and body products from indie companies, like the many that I have reviewed. Recently, I decided to go into Bath & Body Works to see if I was missing out on anything.

They had just released a new collection of Paris scents, four or five scents total. I prefer fruity scents over floral one and sweet/candy scents are my favorite. I tested their new scents and loved “Sweet on Paris.”

To me it is sweet sugary goodness. Bath & Body Works describes it as “an enticing medley of juicy blackberry, lemon meringue and creamy vanilla, inspired by the sweet temptations of  Parisian patisserie.”

To get really technical…

Top Notes: Sparkling Tangerine, Raspberry Kir, Luscious Blackberry, Lemon Meringue

Mid Notes: Jasmine Macaroon, Apricot, Pink Peony, Juicy Nectarine

Dry Notes: Sugared musk, Pink Marshmallow, Creamy Sandalwood, Vanilla Infusion

I purchased “Sweet on Paris” in everything offered, body spray, shower gel, lotion, and a sparkly Eiffel Tower spray.

I wear the body spray often and get a lot of compliments. Well, if you call people saying you smell delicious, like fudge, like pie, etc. a compliment.

I like that indie or homemade bath and body products typically have few ingredients, but I can’t resist this delicious smell. My local Bath & Body Works pretty much sold out of all the “Sweet on Paris” products. I checked back a few times and finally got a second body spray…I’m obsessed and never want to run out of this.

I even love the packaging. This is one of my favorite color combinations…so cute!
