I was looking for a neutral, shimmery, light-colored eyeshadow that I could wear everyday. I wanted something that would brighten up my eyes and only take a minute to apply on a busy day. I went to Ulta and ended up looking at the Urban Decay eyeshadows. I swatched all the display colors and decided on the color Sin.

I like the Urban Decay eyeshadow packaging. It’s lightweight, yet pretty sturdy. I’ve had mine for awhile and it hasn’t broken even when traveling. When you purchase Urban Decay eyeshadows they come in a box, I forgot to take a picture of it.

Sin is a shimmery, neutral, champagne color. Perfect for every day wear! This color brightens up my eyes and adds shimmer, without being too flashy or bold. Sin is a shade that will go with whatever I wear too.

Urban Decay eyeshadows come in over 50 shades, I believe. If you are looking for a nice every day shade, you should definitely consider Sin. I really like it. The following picture shows a swatch of it. I just did one quick swipe with my finger and put it on my hand.

This eyeshadow costs $17, which I do think is kind of expensive for an eyeshadow, but that’s why I got a color I can wear every day. I see no point in spending $17 for a bright color that I would not get a whole lot of use out of. I do have to say that Urban Decay eyeshadow is worth the $17 though. I would prefer it to be cheaper, but it is quality makeup. I could see myself purchasing more colors if I ever have the money to spare.

This eyeshadow lasts pretty much all day without even using a primer. So, if you use a primer you are good to go. Sometimes I even use my finger to apply this eyeshadow if I’m in a hurry. (Yes, that’s a makeup no-no, but I’m a busy mom.) This UD eyeshadow goes on smoothly and evenly. It’s long-lasting and doesn’t crease. I usually prefer loose eyeshadows, but I’m very happy with my Urban Decay eyeshadow purchase.

I definitely recommend this product. I have nothing bad to say about it except…it costs $17. I will definitely be looking out for an Urban Decay sale so I can purchase more colors! I’m hoping for some kind of Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale.

You can purchase Urban Decay eyeshadow from Ulta, Sephora or Urban Decay.
