In honor of today being an important date in history, I thought I’d share a mermaid haul! I was only one year old when The Little Mermaid was released so I don’t recall this event. However, I do remember watching my The Little Mermaid VHS every day after half-day Kindergarten and I think I’ll watch my DVD tonight!

I actually bought all of these items quite some time ago, but nearly all of them are still available to purchase online.

I purchased this Disney Ariel Mini Fragrance from HotTopic.com. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the Sea Splash scent so I only committed to this mini which is currently on sale for $4.50. The full size one has a really cute bottle and is now on sale for $14.63 which isn’t bad compared to most perfumes.

How could I resist this adorable Ariel adjustable midi ring set! You get three rings: Ariel’s silhouette, a seashell, and a dinglehopper for $7.88 from Hot Topic.

Speaking of dinglehoppers, look at this hair bow!! I wore it to work on a casual day and got a bunch of compliments. Hot Topic is currently selling it for $6.38.

I may be a mom, but that certainly won’t stop me from wearing Ariel Slip ons that also feature Flounder and Sebastian. These are super comfy and I loved wearing them during the warmer months with summer shorts and skinny jeans. I think I may have purchased with a promo deal, but you can get them now for $24.50 on, you guessed it, HotTopic.com.

While this top isn’t specifically Ariel, it’s mermaid related and I adore it!

I paired it with my Black Milk Merbarbie leggings when I went to a concert Labor Day weekend. Unfortunately, it’s out of stock. But don’t fret, there’s tons of mermaid inspired clothes online.

Of course mermaids need beauty products too like Lush’s Aqua Marina cleanser. (I’ve been meaning to do a full review of this product for some time.) It’s made with three types of seaweed, aloe vera gel and a sprinkling of sea salt. I personally don’t like the smell of this product, but you might.

I own many other Ariel items and I have no plans on stopping anytime soon. In fact, while I was writing this post I added the two items above to my Hot Topic online shopping cart.

Finally, I have to share that 3 weeks ago my mom surprised me with a Golden Sound Story The Little Mermaid book that was mine! It’s about 20 years old and with fresh batteries it still works!
