June 2014 Birchbox
It's travel season and this month's Birchbox is all about inspiration for your trips with travel-ready products, including a full-sized one! Did you receive the same beauty products as me?
Wednesday June 11 2014
It’s the second week of the month and that means Birchbox time. My box got to me in 3 days this month! Speedy!
June’s Away We Go theme is about travel-ready samples and on-the-go inspiration for road trips or “staycations.”
The first sample is tiny, but a good one. This Cynthia Rowley Creamy Lip Stain is very creamy and not sticky. You can sweep over lips for a little color or repeat for a heavier dose of pigment. I love the designer’s polka dot packaging which matches the eyeliner I got in April’s box.
This pretty pink shade is called Valentine and did leave a little stain on my hand after I wiped the product off.
For body wash I feel like this Dr. Hauschka Lemon Lemongrass Vitalising Body Wash sample is in odd packaging and fairly small. I’m also not a big fan of the ginger and citrus scent. If you are, instead of paying $22.95 for a full-size body wash, I’d recommend trying Ginger & Co. products.
I like perfume samples, but this one isn’t for me. Folle de Joie Eau de parfum is described as a fresh blend of mandarin, rose, and sandalwood.
This full-size Mally Volumizing Mascara was a welcomed surprise in this month’s Birchbox. I only paid $10 for this box and this mascara alone costs $20. This makes up for the body wash and perfume.
I actually really like this Perlier Shea Butter Body Balm. It has a clean scent and is made with 100% organic shea butter and sweet almond milk. It’s very moisturizing, silky, and fast-absorbing. It’s not watery or greasy. If you suffer from dry skin, you’ll love this.
A full-size mascara made this box worth the money I paid for it. I also really like 2 of the 4 samples. Overall, not a bad month, Birchbox.

hey there. for mature or drier skin i like the lieloe triple solution bb cream.for oilier skin to normal i like the etude house mineral all day bb cream. Both are Korean. i? really don’t like any of the american lines. i just feel like they are tinted moisturizers.as for powders. just something light. brightning is good. but not for photos.
